The Alberta's YouthVOLUNTEER! Calendar of Events strives to be as inclusive as possible. That being said, events that discriminate on any grounds protected by the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms (including sexual orientation, gender, religion.) and/or events that are illegal as defined by the governing laws of the municipality of Edmonton will not be posted. Events should be accessible and of interest to the youth (loosely age 13-24) of Edmonton and area. Some events may be for youth 18 or older; however, these events must have as their objective more than simply the consumption of alcohol and/or the engagement in gambling. Event summaries must be less than 500 words. All content is subject to editing and approval by Alberta's YouthVOLUNTEER! staff.

Some acceptable events are:
•  Concert/Theater - Forums - Special Interest Events
•  Fund Raisers - Festivals - Religious/Cultural events/holidays
•  Sporting events
